Rob Adams, vocals, guitar, and mandolin.

Rob started playing at age thirteen when he got an acoustic guitar for Christmas. Three years later he and some high school friends created the country band Rais'n Ruckus. For the next six years Rob’s band played just about every Amvets and VFW in central Ohio. In 1998 Rob started working with Nashville recording artist Rose Kaiser and the Steel Water Band, first as a sound tech then moving up to acoustic guitarist. In 1999 Rob met Mark O'neil and started the Top 40 alternative band Bad Little Monkey. BLM was on the rise and things were going great but as they say...”All good things must come to an end”. In 2003 Rob answered an ad for a band looking for a singer. Rob auditioned and WillyJack & the PoleCats, a classic rock and blues band, was born. Four years and a couple of lineup changes later bring us to what is now known, as Rob Adams & the PhatCats, a high energy variety band rockin' and rollin' its way into your town! When Rob is not playing music he is saving lives and putting out fires at his full-time job as a firefighter.

Barefoot Jim
Jim (Barefoot Jim) Brehm, keyboards, harmonica, harmony.

Jim Brehm (pronounced Breem) has been playing music since he was a little boy in the early 70's. He picked up a harmonica in 1987 and started playing it professionally in 1990. Jim has played nearly every weekend since. Over the years he has played Blues, Country, Rock, Gospel, Contemporary Christian, Jazz, Blue Grass and Classical music. He even appeared on Channel 4's TV mass for a time. Jim enjoys anything that makes the crowd move but his favorite music is the type that is featured by Rob Adams and the Phatcats. The highlight of Jim's nomadic jamming was playing a set with the house band at the House of Blues in Savannah, Georgia. He currently lives in Delaware and teaches at the Olentangy School district. He has been married for 18 years with three daughters, two girl dogs and two girl cats...No wonder he plays most weekends...He asks for your prayers....
Previous bands include Willy Jack and the Polecats, Brian Oaks and the Heartland Express, Anything Blue, The Country Classics and Code West.

Pat ....Drums
Pat Whited, drums.

Pat admits to being old enough to have grown up with Big Band music being played in the house. The drummers from that era, such as Louis Bellson, Gene Krupa, and Buddy Rich practically invented the art form and were a major inspiration for his becoming a drummer. His more recent influences are Dave Mattox, Mitch Mitchell, Charlie Watts, John Densmore, and Russ Kunkle.
Previous bands include The G.T. Alton Band, Orphan Pride, Bandit, Top Priority, Enchanted, Jezebel, and The Trouble With Amy.

Mike Whited Bass
Mike Whited, bass guitar.

Mike started playing bass while in high school. As a teenager his band signed with a Chicago based promotional group and toured for two summers as backup band for the “Shindig All-star Review” backing headliners Del Shannon, Bobby Sherman, The Mills Brothers, Freddy Fender and JoAnn Castle. Mikes’ band also opened for The New Colony Six, Terry Knight and the Pack (Grand Funk Railroad), Kenny Rogers and the 1st Edition and the Byrds.
Previous bands include The Ebb Tides, One Night Stand, Malayerba, Jezebel, The Trouble with Amy and WillyJack & the Polecats.

Mike (Fish) Martini, lead guitar, and harmony.

Mike picked up his first guitar at age 9, after seeing the Beatles on TV. His first professional gig was, as a freshman in high school, playing the senior Prom. Some of Mike’s early influences include The Stones, the Who, Bad Co., Allman Brothers, S.R.V., ZZ Top and more. Mike has played in many bands over the last 35 years and has opened for many national acts. He was semi-retired from stage until the PhatCats called and re-ignited that old spark. He plays mostly vintage & homemade Fender Strat style guitars. Mike has a degree in electronics technology and designs, builds, and repairs instrument amplifiers and guitars. He also teaches guitar in multiple styles.
Previous bands include Poor Mans Heaven, Hustler, Whiplash, the Barb Paugh Band and Copperhead Canyon.
